Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [Company legal name], the company that operates GoLive ("GoLive", "we", "us"). By creating an order or using GoLive, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What GoLive provides
GoLive puts your website online. Depending on your choices, this includes registering or transferring a domain name, provisioning hosting, issuing and renewing a security certificate, configuring content delivery, and publishing the content you provide. Specific inclusions depend on the plan you select.
2. Your account and information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, including your email, billing country, and any VAT number, and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement, and, where you act for an organisation, authorised to bind it.
3. Plans, billing and taxes
- Subscriptions. Plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically until cancelled. Yearly billing is charged once for the year.
- Prices and VAT. Prices are shown excluding VAT. Applicable VAT is added at checkout based on your country. For valid EU business VAT numbers outside our home country, the reverse-charge mechanism may apply.
- Transaction fee. A transaction fee may be added at checkout and is shown before you pay.
- Renewals and cancellation. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend or stop the service after reasonable notice.
4. Domains
Domain registrations and transfers are provided through third-party registrars and are subject to their terms and to registry policies (including ICANN policies where relevant). Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration completes. You are responsible for keeping your domain contact details accurate. Where you transfer a domain you already own, you confirm you are entitled to do so and will provide any authorisation code required.
5. Your content and responsibilities
You keep ownership of the content you upload or link. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, deploy and deliver that content so we can provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights to your content and for ensuring it is lawful. You must not use GoLive to publish or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or that violates the rights or privacy of others.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to break or bypass its security, disrupting its operation, using it to send spam or malware, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may set reasonable technical limits (for example on file sizes and upload volume) to protect the service.
7. Third-party services
GoLive relies on third parties to deliver parts of the service, including domain registrars, hosting and delivery providers, our payment processor, and, if you choose, the storage or code source you link. Your use of those parts may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep your site available in line with the uptime commitment described for your plan, and we provide human support. From time to time we may carry out maintenance or experience events outside our control. Where a live site is affected, we will work to restore it and keep you informed.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end the service if you breach these Terms, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law or by a provider. You may stop using GoLive at any time. On termination, the rights granted to each party end, except for terms that by their nature survive.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a specific domain will be available. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer rights.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GoLive is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to cover reasonable losses we incur from your content or your use of the service in breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Changes
We may update the service and these Terms. If we make a material change, we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or on this page. Continuing to use GoLive after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes are subject to the courts of [jurisdiction], without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
