Data we collect

How we use it

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to deliver the service and take payment); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service); legal obligation (for example tax and accounting records); and consent where required, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

We share data only as needed to run the service, with providers acting on our instructions or as independent controllers where required, including: domain registrars, hosting and content-delivery providers, our payment processor, and our email provider. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not run advertising inside the product.

International transfers

You can choose to keep your site and data in EU regions. Where data is transferred outside your region, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

How long we keep it

We keep account and order records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Certain provider and pricing records associated with your orders are retained for up to seven years from the last related transaction. Uploaded content is kept while your site is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise these, contact privacy@golive.example. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. For more detail on GDPR specifically, see our GDPR page.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to operate the service and remember your session. If we add analytics or optional cookies, we will ask for consent where required and update this policy.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Children

GoLive is not directed to children and is intended for use by adults or by organisations.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date and, where appropriate, notified by email.
